The Mental Breakdown - Edition #5
Good morning! I'm assembling an exhaustive database of ~1,000 executive coaches. Working with an executive coach has been life-changing for me as a startup founder. But, there's no exhaustive resource or directory of coaches that anyone can look at to find a good fit coach. That's why I decided to build it.
Do you want me to include you in the resource? Comment "Add me" on my LinkedIn post. I'll add you and DM you the resource.
Do you know a great executive coach? Tag them in the comments to make sure they're included.
Now, on to today’s tips…
From the Coaches
Stephanie Peirolo shares how even small tweaks to a working schedule can result in huge benefits for everyone in Change Gears.
Tracy Akresh Stone talks about facing fears and coming out the better for it on the other side in Ropes Course as Metaphor
Emily Goligoski goes over the topic of working with friends and proposes ideas on how leaders can keep professional and personal relationships healthy in The tough stuff we don’t talk about enough when working with friends.
Stuart McCalla writes up a playbook for underdogs that you can highlight when working with a client that believes the odds are stacked against them in Breaking Through as an Underdog.
Brian Wang explores how fear is often underneath a lot of anger, and that by finding that fear, leaders can learn to diffuse difficult situations in Transforming Conflict: How Finding the Fear Creates Freedom.
René Johnson speaks to the power of authenticity and how sometimes that’s all you need to draw a crowd and convince the world in The Magnetic Factor.
From the Operators & Investors
Anique Drumright speaks on the In Depth podcast about common problems with the hiring and recruitment process as well as what leaders can do to find top talent in Lessons from Loom on product strategy and organizational leadership.
Oh hey, what’s Heyday?
Heyday is an AI-powered thought partner that helps executive coaches be more present with clients. Modern coaches generate automatic session notes, detect patterns from client conversations, and write targeted content with help from Heyday.
